Free entry at the 2011
St-Pierre-Jolys Frog Follies and Ag Fair
The St-Pierre-Jolys Frog Follies and Agricultural Fair are proud to release the schedule for the 2011 season. Celebrating 42 years in the community, the festival will be held on its new dates, July 14th to 17th. Festival goers will also benefit from free entry to the festival grounds throughout the weekend.
For a second year in a row, the St-Pierre-Jolys Frog Follies will be accompanied by the St-Pierre Agricultural Fair, thus offering a wider variety of events for all to enjoy. Throughout the weekend, people of all ages are invited to see the Agricultural Fair Exhibition and displays, watch the antique tractor games, enjoy some sheep shearing or go on an R & C Klassen Wagon ride!
The St-Pierre-Jolys Frog Follies and Agricultural Fair will also be your prime destination for local music including music by local artist Marc Labossière and his Studio 59 Showcase. recordingstudio59.ca. For a more "Hands On" experience, there is always the Canadian National Frog Jumping Championships where you can race a frog for amphibian supremacy. Can you beat last year's champion Damien Gagné with his frog "Jeanne"?
There are events for people of all ages, even a huge children's area with bouncers, face painting and much more. Take in some slowpitch, try out our dunk tank, see some fireworks and enjoy the parade!
